Oak Hill Hospital Recognized by Salvation Army as the Corporate Volunteer in 2008
Spring Hill, Florida (February 27, 2009) Oak Hill Hospital has announced that it has been recognized by the Salvation Army as the Corporate Volunteer for 2008 for Oak Hill Hospitals untiring service and loyalty to the Thanksgiving Basket Drive and the Christmas Angel Program. Once again Oak Hill Hospital associates and volunteers donated a total of 196 food baskets to needy residents in our community. In addition to the Salvation Army the following charities received baskets: Catholic charities, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Mid-Florida Communities, Salvation Army, and Victorias Life Outreach.
During Oak Hills annual Christmas Angel Program 115 angels were adopted during Christmas of 2008. Oak Hill Hospitals Associate Activity Committee members were recognized and acknowledged at the Salvation Armys award luncheon on Friday, February 6 and were presented with a plaque on February 23.
